He has no advisor

I always get amused at my continuous unending tendency to fill in for the unadvertised, unavailable position of Chief Advisor to God. I am sure I am not alone in this.

I have ideas you know.
Ideas on how God should and maybe could answer my prayers
Ideas on the timelines God should work with
Ideas on where God should concentrate His efforts at any given point in time
Ideas on how God should be upholding the very world He created
Ideas on how to deal with calamities, disease and illnesses
Ideas on how to bring about justice swiftly
And the list could go on and on

What I have found/realised and come to appreciate is that God has no need of my unsolicited and for that matter absolutely limited in every way form and shape, advise.

Most of time this gentle continuous reminder happens when God in His Divine Majesty, in His Providence answers my prayers in an out of this world way!

I get reminded of who God is, I catch a glimpse of Him. And I bow down in worship!

1
Immortal, invisible, God only wise,
In light inaccessible hid from our eyes,
Most blessed, most glorious, the Ancient of Days,
Almighty, victorious, Thy great name we praise.
2
Unresting, unhasting, and silent as light,
Nor wanting, nor wasting, Thou rulest in might;
Thy justice like mountains high soaring above
Thy clouds which are fountains of goodness and love.
3
To all life Thou givest, to both great and small;
In all life Thou livest, the true life of all;
We blossom and flourish as leaves on the tree,
And wither and perish, but nought changeth Thee.
4
Great Father of Glory, pure Father of Light
Thine angels adore Thee, all veiling their sight;
All laud we would render, O help us to see:
’Tis only the splendor of light hideth Thee.
5
Immortal, invisible, God only wise,
In light inaccessible hid from our eyes,
Most blessed, most glorious, the Ancient of Days,
Almighty, victorious, Thy great name we praise.
